Richard oversees all aspects of the development activities in Morgan’s East Region with our regional office located in Miami. He joined Morgan in 2012 and his team is focused on sourcing and developing high-quality investment grade properties primarily in Florida.
A veteran real estate developer, Richard has served in various leadership roles with nationally recognized multifamily developers such as Post Properties, Colonial Properties Trust, Altman Development and Crescent Resources LLC. Throughout his 25 plus years of service in the construction management and development industry, Richard has provided leadership to the acquisition, design, entitlement, construction, lease-up and/or disposition of over 8,000 multifamily units and 1,500 single-family lots, across four states.
Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Auburn University. Richard served in the United States military, honorably discharged as a 1LT Infantry Officer assigned to A Co/1st Bn/ 20th Special Forces Group (Airborne) after 11 years with the USAR and ALANG.
He and his wife, Kristy (M-1993), along with their six children live in Palm City, Florida where he serves as an Elder at Treasure Coast Presbyterian Church (PCA).
