As Regional Development Partner for Morgan’s Central Region, Jason is responsible for all development activity in Texas. Since joining Morgan in 2020, Jason has led 15 development starts totaling more than 5,200 units and nearly $1.5 billion in total capitalization.
Jason is focused on growing Morgan’s footprint across Texas, deepening its presence in the state’s major markets and positioning Morgan to capture the next wave of growth in one of the country’s most dynamic development environments. That growth is driven through a disciplined focus on site selection, product execution, resident experience, and investor returns.
Prior to joining Morgan, Jason spent nine years with Trinsic Residential Group, spanning from development analyst to development director and launching the company’s Central Texas office, where he led the sourcing and execution of new development throughout Austin and San Antonio. During his tenure, Jason was involved in more than 7,100 units across Texas. He began his career in commercial real estate lending with Bank of Texas.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting from Texas Christian University and the Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute. He is an Advisory Board member for TCU’s Center for Real Estate, an active member of the Real Estate Council of Austin, and a 2017 graduate of The Real Estate Council’s Associate Leadership Council in Dallas.
A Minnesota native, Jason lives in Austin with his wife, two sons, and four rescue dogs and is an avid open water swimmer.
