As Chairman, Michael S. Morgan is responsible for strategic planning, risk management, investment decisions and product development. His strategy of selecting the most talented professionals in the business, geographic diversification and conservative financial structure has led the company to successfully develop properties in eight states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Tennessee and Texas. Since 1989, the Houston-based firm has developed more than 18,000 units, with a cost of more than $2.1 billion.
Michael formerly served on the Board of Trustees for the Kinkaid School and the Holocaust Museum Houston as well as the Advisory Board for Casa de Esperanza. He was also the past Chairman of The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Houston. He is active professionally on the Board of Directors for the National Multi Housing Council (NMHC) and is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI). He is a past executive committee member of the Houston Chapter of the Young President’s Organization (YPO) and a current member the World President’s Organization (WPO) and Chief Executives Organization (CEO).
