Ric Shwisberg
Senior Vice President/General Counsel-West Coast

Ric Shwisberg serves as Senior Vice President/General Counsel-West Coast for the Morgan Group, Inc. (MGI) Ric’s primary responsibilities include assisting with the pre-development and development phases of projects, as well as in the acquisition, financing and disposition process for MGI’s projects on the West Coast. In addition, together with MGI’s General Counsel, Ric serves as legal counsel to the company.

Prior to joining MGI, Ric was a member and partner of the San Diego law firm of Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves & Savitch LLP. As the former leader of the firm’s real estate team, his practice encompassed all aspects of commercial real estate development, including development planning, acquisition, financing, leasing and disposition of multifamily, office, retail and industrial projects.

Ric received his undergraduate degree in business administration from Boston University. Ric is also a 1981 graduate of the University of San Diego School of Law and was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1981.
