Kim Small
Senior VP/Director of National Operations

Prior to joining the Morgan Group, Ms. Small was Vice President of the Central Region of management operations for Alliance Communities.  She was responsible for approximately 13,000 fee and owned units.

Most of her career was associated with Gables Residential.  She was Regional Vice President responsible for third-party operations in Texas, Tennessee, and the Carolinas.  Kim joined Gables in 1989 when it was a private company under the name of Trammell Crow Residential.  Small was heavily involved in lease-ups and fee managed properties.  Her expertise in marketing and lease up strategies helped to achieve quick stabilization and position the assets for sale.  Her ability to deliver a high degree of service and successful financial performance in the properties, gave owners great satisfaction in their increased value of their assets.  She also led the Customer Service Board for Gables which resulted in winning National Property Awards in SatisFact's Annual Resident Surveys 2005.

Small was also with Harry Reed & Co., Hettig Management Corporation, and Equity Residential.

Ms. Small is a Certified Apartment Property Supervisor (CAPS) and serves on the Houston Apartment Association Board of Directors.  She is currently HAA's Secretary.  She is also a member of Commercial Real Estate for Women (CREW).  She attended the University of Houston where she studied Interior Design.
