As Chief Executive Officer and
Co-Chairman of The Morgan Group, Inc. (MGI), Michael S. Morgan
is responsible for strategic planning, risk management, investment
decisions and product development. His strategy of geographic
diversification has led the company to complete properties in seven
states including Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Kansas,
Tennessee and Texas. Since 1989, the Houston-based firm has developed
more than 11,000 units at a cost of more than $1.5 billion.
In conjunction with his
day-to-day duties, Michael serves on the executive committee of The
Boys and Girls Club of Greater Houston and the Holocaust Museum in
Houston. He is active professionally on the Board of Directors for the
National Multi-Housing Council (“NMHC”) and is a member of the Urban
Land Institute (“ULI”). He is also a member of the executive committee
for the Houston Chapter of the Young President’s Organization and
serves on the Board of Directors of Casa de Esperanza.
Michael holds an undergraduate
degree in real estate and construction management from the University
of Denver.

Ronnie Morgan is Co-Chairman of The Morgan
Group, Inc. (MGI) and Chief Executive Officer of Morgan Construction.
Since 1989, the Houston-based firm has developed more than 11,000 units
at a cost of more than $1.5 billion. Based in Morgan’s San Diego
office, Ronnie directs the company’s continued growth throughout
California. Before partnering with his brother Michael, Ronnie was a
practicing real estate attorney in Houston for several years.
He obtained a BBA degree with
a major in real estate from the University of Texas at Austin and a
doctor of jurisprudence degree from the University of Houston Law
Centre.
Ronnie is a National
Commissioner with the Anti-Defamation League and member of the Urban
Land Institute. He was also the past President of the San Diego Chapter
of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and the Houston Apartment
Association. Additionally, he is a member of CEO and the World
Presidents Organization (WPO) and serves as a trustee on the Board of
La Jolla Country Day School.
