Michael S. Morgan

As Chief Executive Officer and Co-Chairman, Michael S. Morgan is responsible for strategic planning, risk management, investment decisions and product development. His strategy of selecting the most talented professionals in the business, geographic diversification and conservative financial structure has led the company to successfully develop properties in seven states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Kansas, Tennessee and Texas. Since 1989, the Houston-based firm has developed more than 15,000 units, with a cost of more than $1.5 billion.

In conjunction with his day-to-day duties, Michael serves as Chairman of The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Houston (http://www.bgclubs-houston.org). Other community involvement includes the Board of Directors of the Holocaust Museum in Houston (www.hmh.org) and Casa de Esperanza (http://www.casahope.org). He is active professionally on the Board of Directors for the National Multi Housing Council (NMHC) and is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI). He is also a member of the Houston Chapter of the Young President’s Organization (YPO) and the World President’s Organization (WPO).

Michael holds an BBS with a major in real estate and construction management from the University of Denver.
