Jon C. Wood
As Morgan’s Vice President, Development, Jon Wood is responsible for all facets of development on the East Coast with particular focus on Florida and the Washington, D.C. region. He oversees site selection, market analysis, due diligence, financial analysis, procurement of entitlements/permits, product design and project financing.
Prior to joining Morgan, Jon was a regional development officer for Archstone-Smith, where he administered the development of more than $130 million of multifamily projects throughout metropolitan Washington, D.C. Prior to Archstone-Smith, Jon served as regional development manager for Trammell Crow Residential, where he directed the development of 2,200 apartments throughout Florida and facilitated the procurement of more than $170 million of debt and equity financing.
Jon earned an MBA from the University of Florida with a dual concentration in real estate and finance. He also received a BA degree in economics, cum laude, from Rollins College. Jon is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, International Council of Shopping Centers, National Multi Housing Council and University of Florida Friends and Alumni of Real Estate. He currently serves as a board member of the University of Florida Real Estate Advisory Board as well as the Maitland Historical Society Honorary Board of Directors.
